Becoming Parents -
Frequently Asked Questions

Why do antenatal and childbirth classes?
Childbirth classes are not just about learning how to breathe properly.  Classes are a good way to prepare for labour, know what to expect before, during, and after the birth of your baby. Classes also inform parents of the choices they have during the labour and birth. Most importantly classes encourage women and their partners to play a vital role in their birth experience. Our consultants will tailor your clasess to meet your needs.

What is the difference between private and hospital based classes?
Some hospital based classes cater for up to ten or more couples and whilst are another option, do not provide one on one attention.  ‘Becoming Parents’ understands that not everybody has the same level of knowledge and as such have different educational needs.
